Prof. Hong Shen
Sun Yat-sen University, China
Hong Shen is currently a specially-appointed Professor in Sun Yat-sen University. He was Professor of Computer Science and Associate Dean ofFaculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences in University of Adelaide, Australia, Professor and Chairof the Computer Networks Laboratoryin Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST). With main research interests in parallel and distributed computing, networkoptimization, privacy and security, data mining, he hasestablished active research centers and groups in different institutions, published more than 400 research papers, including over 100 papers in major academic journals such as a variety of IEEE and ACM transactions. Dr. Shen has received numerous honours and awards at institutional, ministerial and national levels, served on editorial boards of major international journals and chaired numerous international conferences.
Prof. Chuan Qin
University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, China
Biography: Chuan Qin received his Ph.D. degree in signal and information processing from Shanghai University, Shanghai, China, in 2008. Since Dec. 2008, he has been with the faculty of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, where he is currently a Professor. He was with Feng Chia University at Taiwan as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Adjunct Assistant Professor from July 2010 to July 2012. His research interests include image processing, multimedia security and AI security. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers in journals and conferences including IEEE TIP, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TDSC, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCSVT, IEEE TETCI and ACM Multimedia. He is selected as the Highly Cited Chinese Researcher by Elsevier in 2020. He won the Best Paper Award of CIHW 2016 and the Candidate of Excellent Paper Award of IEEE IIHMSP 2014. He has served as the Associate Editor for Signal Processing (Elsevier) and Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation (Elsevier). He is the Senior Member of CCF and CSIG.
Prof. Hong Lin

Biography: Dr. Hong Lin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science. His graduate work includes theoretical and empirical studies of parallel programming models and implementations. Dr. Lin has worked on large-scale computational biology at Purdue University, active networks at the National Research Council Canada, and network security at Nokia, Inc. Dr. Lin joined UHD at 2001 and he is currently a professor in computer science. He has worked on parallel computing, multi-agent systems, and affective computing since he joined UHD. He established the Grid Computing Lab at UHD through an NSF MRI grant. He has been a Scholars Academy mentor, an REU faculty mentor, and a CAHSI faculty mentor. He is a senior member of ACM. A faculty member at University of Houston-Downtown since 2001.
Prof. Xiwen Zhang
Beijing Language and Culture University, China
Xiwen Zhang is currently a Professor of Digital Media Department, School of Information Science in the Beijing Language and Culture University. He worked as an associated professor from 2002 to 2007 at the Human-computer interaction Laboratory, Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2005 to 2006 he was a Post doctor advised by Prof. Michael R. Lyu in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. From February to April in 2001 he was a Research Assistant by Dr. KeZhang Chen in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the University of Hong Kong. From 2000 to 2002 he was a Post doctor advised by Prof. ShiJie Cai in the Computer Science and Technology department, Nanjing University. Prof. Zhang's research interests include pattern recognition, computer vision, and human-computer interaction, as well as their applications in digital image, digital video, and digital ink. Prof. Zhang has published over 60 refereed journal and conference paper.
